Havells Sylvania to celebrate the success of WOW Sylvania promotion

Global lighting manufacturer, Havells Sylvania is celebrating threefold success for its WOW Sylvania promotion at this year’s Institute of Promotional Marketing (IPM) Awards. Havells Sylvania and Platform, the promotional marketing company that helped develop the scheme, collected three Gold awards for Best Sales Incentive Program, Best International Campaign and the inaugural Best Business to Business Campaign.

The annual IPM Awards 2014 ceremony was held on 10 June at the London Hilton, Park Lane. The awards recognize creativity and effectiveness in promotional marketing campaigns, with 32 main and five special categories covering client industry sectors, media channels, objectives and techniques. With several blue-chip companies on the shortlist, Havells Sylvania took home an impressive three top placing awards.

Havells Sylvania launched its first pan-European promotion for wholesale customers, the WOW campaign, in April 2013. The promotion took place in eight countries and rewarded customer loyalty to Havells Sylvania’s Lumiance and Sylvania brands by offering an opportunity to win a selection of prizes including luxury holidays.

As a result of the three-month WOW campaign, Havells Sylvania gave away over 16,000 prizes and received more than 15,000 unique visits to the dedicated website. The campaign helped Havells Sylvania reach a vast number of European contractors, building relationships and gaining a positive ROI in extremely competitive times.
